Claire Hopkins<\/strong>\u00a0has just released her latest single,\u00a0GO GETTEM GIRL<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0and now the music video with a powerful message, is here!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

GO GETTEM GIRL<\/strong><\/em> is a heartfelt country-pop song with a positive twist, that follows the journey of a girl emigrating overseas and reflects on the impact that it has on family and friends left behind. The artist believes that it will appeal to a broad audience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/a>\u201cAny change or transition in life, whether positive or negative, is met with its pros and cons; not only for the person going through it, but also for those close to them. I miss my friends and family dearly,\u201d <\/em>she says.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The music video is about a girl deciding to leave the country and the build-up towards the final goodbye. It was shot on a farm in Bapsfontein and produced by Inkglas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The young artist\u2019s latest offering is her second original release and fourth single overall \u2013 it follows in the footsteps of Keeper<\/em>, released at the end of 2021, which got playlisted and charted on several major radio stations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Claire holds an undergraduate degree in Education, two honours degrees (Educational Psychology and Remedial Therapy), and a master\u2019s degree (Educational Psychology).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She is currently working as a psychologist in Cape Town, where she is still settling in, but is adamant to continue pursuing her dream of becoming a well-known musician in the industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

GO GETTEM GIRL<\/strong><\/em> is an emotional song that speaks to the heart and is sure to reinforce this versatile musician\u2019s position as a rising star!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
